  • “1st time but wont be the last”

Stunning location, very friendly and helpful staff, Rooms were more than worth their price. My partner and I were staying in one of the cottages (Dans cottage) with excellent views of Loch Lomand. Breakfast was fantastic every morning. We used the Oak Tree Inn as a base to for viewing wedding venues around the Loch and have added it to our list of places for guests to stay.

  • “Excellent trip, great staff”

My family and I stopped off at the Oak Tree Inn at what seemed like the perfect time. The staff were truly helpful in helping us find walking trails and excursions. My mum (a true Yorkshire woman) even said the fish and chips were comparable to those she grew up on. Thank you Oak Tree for being one of the best parts of our holiday.

  • “Perfect home-base for Loch Lomond holiday”

My husband and I stayed at the Oak Tree Inn the first two nights of our honeymoon in Scotland. We loved it here! Perfect location for views of Loch Lomond, hiking Conic Hill and taking a boat ride across the loch to Luss. The food was top-notch in my opinion and included a host of traditional British favorites--think meat pies, haggis, curry, etc. Mmmmmm.. Highly recommend for accommodations in Loch Lomond, or just to stop and have a bite and a pint!

  • “Great”

Great welcome and ambiance much needed after walking Conic Hill! We emerged from the middle of nowhere and spotted it straight away. Good bar with log fire, great pub-style food. Après ski vibe. Room was clean and spacious. ??Would unreservedly recommend.

  • “Wow just wish it was closer”

Well we got a deal on one night, I was up near this place on business? So my partner and I made a night of it. ?Unusually we had Lunch, Dinner and breakfast here, just love the place, good bar, beer, food, atmosphere, people and room. Well it that good we are going back for 3 days in may (not business so I have to pay & it\'s not on a deal) but it is definitely worth it. Looking forward to going back.

  • “Five Star Food and Accommodation”

I have stayed at the Oak tree Inn several times during this winter, and many times over the years. The food is always fantastic, with top quality produce being served by friendly welcoming staff. You will not find better value or service anywhere.

  • “Great Location and Good Place to stay”

First time staying at the Oak Tree Inn and we had a great time. Six of us booked 3 double rooms and each one was cosy, clean and well equipped. The food was excellent and the prices good. The staff were very friendly and the service very good. The location is beautiful with Conic Hill just in front of the hotel and views of the loch at the back. I can\'t wait to go back.

  • “A Hidden Gem”

I have visited the Oak Tree Inn a few times over the years and it keeps on delivering on many levels. The staff are just so friendly and welcoming, especially Agnes on reception. ?The food is superb and for a hotel of this size the menu is extensive. One of the things that I like is that you can choose to eat in the bar (with the open fire) or in the restaurant. Either way it is a very relaxing atmosphere. I like not having to dress up - everyone is smart/casual.

And to finish, best MUSHY peas I have ever had.... recommend to all my friends and family!!!!

  • “Lovely stay and food”

My husband booked a surprise Valentine\'s Day stay at one of the cottages in a superior double room, which had lovely views across the Loch. He had arranged flowers for my arrival and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant with very helpful and friendly staff. We had a lovely evening and the room was lovely and cosy too...

  • “Quality stopping place”

Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst doing the West Highland Way. What a treat after a long days walking. The location is spectacular, the food is decent (and substantial) and the bed is comfy, comfy, comfy! Perfect for my tired legs. Would love to come back again for a return visit.
