Whatever the weather you can enjoy a hearty Scottish meal at The Oak Tree, sitting in our restaurant, bar and conservatory. On a good day you can sit outside, we have plenty of outdoor seating. We don’t take bookings, just come along. We serve food daily from midday.
We have at least 50 malt whiskies available, including a locally distilled 10 year old malt from Glengoyne, we also have our very own limited edition Balmaha whisky.
As well as own brewed beers from our very own Balmaha Brewing Co. we stock a wide range of draft and bottled beers, ales and cider from Loch Lomond and across Scotland. We also serve a range of spirits including local gins.
Food is a passion and we carefully source our ingredients to offer a very high quality of traditional Scottish cooking with
traditional favourites unique delicacies such as Arctic Charr and Cullen Skink.
Our most popular dishes include Beer Battered Fish & Chips (right), Macaroni Cheese, Steak Pie and the famous Oak Tree Burger (see more below). Daily Seasonal Specials are a popular feature of our menu and we also offer a selection of vegetarian and gluten free dishes. All our food is prepared freshly on the premises and we use as much of our own home grown fruit and vegetables from the market garden as possible.
